Jenny's Corner ~~~~My Oz Adventure ~~~~

I could not believe myself that indeed i am goin to Australia when i got my visa on Jan. 2005. Who would have thought that i will have this once in a lifetime all expense paid trip courtesy of my kind and ever generous bro-in-law Joe.

I was sponsored by my sis and bro in law, to visit them and help my sis as she was about to give birth at that time. A lot of paper works were required and after much work, finally i got my visa.

Soon after that, i found myself preparing for my very 1st trip overseas and onto my 1st airplane ride. So i left Manila night of Feb. 9 and oh boy, i was so nervous and very excited as well. I had my stop-over at the very huge Hongkong Airport.

So after over 12 hours (including waiting), my feet landed at the Sydney International Airport early afternoon of Feb10. I was wide-eyed and still telling myself that it is for real..hahahaha. My trip went good, just felt nervous at some mild turbulence...(hehehe -it's my 1st time).

I was welcomed by my sis, bro in law and their 2 year-old son. For 3 months i had my most wonderful and unforgettable vacation ever. Meeting my sis and her family, meeting new friends and our never-ending visit to tourist spots plus eating good food, i can say i am lucky and happy to have experienced such.

My tears really flowed too much bidding them goodbye and I pray and hope that i can have the next chance to be back there again.
